Diese Studie vergleicht erwachsene Romanfiguren, die wieder zu Kindern werden, und greift damit ein Thema auf, das bisher in der Literaturwissenschaft wenig Resonanz gefunden hat. Mit sechs poststrukturalistisch grundierten Denkfiguren, die sich an Judith Butlers Normenverständnis, Michel Foucaults Machtbegriff und Bernhard Waldenfels‘ Plädoyer für den Kontrollverlust anlehnen, werden gängige Definitionen hinterfragt und vier Romane aus dem amerikanischen, deutschen und französischen Sprachraum analysiert. Zentral ist Foucaults Traumkonzeption, die das Erwachsensein als Drahtseilakt zwischen Intimität und Sozialität erscheinen lässt. |
