520 _aCommunity Mental Health Journal is dedicated to advancing public sector mental health services for individuals affected by serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and/or substance use disorders. The journal seeks to bridge the gap between research and real-world clinical practice in community and public mental health settings. We welcome submissions that focus on populations served in the public sector and address the challenges faced in real-world environments. We are particularly interested in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research that contributes to a deeper understanding of systems of care, clinical outcomes, and population health. Systematic reviews are welcome and should follow established reporting standards such as PRISMA. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Nationally representative epidemiologic data Social determinants of health and health equity interventions Early and preventative interventions Critical analyses of diagnostic and treatment paradigms Safety and efficacy of pharmacological treatments Psychosocial interventions, including psychotherapy, supported employment, assertive community treatment, supportive housing, and others Digital interventions Peer support Strategies to enhance engagement and shared decision-making Impact of health policy, including local, state, and federal policy analyses Workforce development and training While this is the journal of the American Association for Community Psychiatry, we welcome manuscripts reflecting research from a range of disciplines on recovery-oriented services, public health policy, clinical delivery systems, advocacy, and emerging and innovative practices. .
