The journal promotes interdisciplinary advancements in theory, methods, and practice to advance knowledge discovery from geospatial data through intelligent visualization and analysis. JGSA focuses on: Geovisualization: Development of interactive mapping interfaces, virtual and augmented reality applications, and user-centered geovisualization tools that enhance spatial understanding. Spatial Analysis: Advanced spatial statistical methods, spatial data mining techniques, and spatial modeling approaches. GeoAI: This encompasses novel machine learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms for geospatial data; integration of diverse geospatial data sources; development of transparent and interpretable models; and applications in areas like environmental monitoring, urban planning, and disaster management. Emerging Technologies: Exploration of new geospatial technologies and data sources that contribute to the advancement of geovisualization, spatial analysis, and GeoAI. The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, and technical notes that advance the fields of geovisualization, spatial analysis, and GeoAI. Policy on the use of AI Tools JGSA permits the use of AI tools by authors, with disclosure, for specific tasks that enhance the clarity and quality of their submissions. Authors may use AI and AI-assisted technologies for editing, translation, and improving the clarity of their writing. The journal emphasizes that the core intellectual contributions must remain the work of the author(s). Authors must include a statement acknowledging the use of AI at the end of the published article, and disclose the specific AI tools used and their purpose. Any questions regarding the appropriate use of AI and AI-assisted tools in submissions to JGSA should be directed to the editor. | ||
