Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: Digital and Aligner Orthodontics publishes cutting-edge research, clinical innovations, and critical reviews that advance the science and practice of digital technologies in orthodontics, particularly clear-aligner therapy. Our goal is to accelerate translation of novel materials, software algorithms, biomechanics, and patient-engagement tools into improved treatment outcomes and workflows. Digital and Aligner Orthodontics welcomes research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, brief reports, case reports, and position statements in areas including, but not limited to: Development and validation of digital treatment-planning platforms (AI-driven growth prediction, AI-driven treatment planning, automated segmentation, virtual setup optimization). Biomechanical studies of aligner materials, attachment designs, trim-line effects, and staging protocols (in vitro, finite-element, clinical trials). Innovations in 3D-printed orthodontic appliances (aligners, auxiliaries, hybrid devices, braces) and biodegradable/biocompatible polymers Tele-orthodontics, remote monitoring technologies, compliance-tracking systems, and patient-engagement apps. Integration of CAD/CAM workflows with mixed-appliance strategies and robotic automation. Economic, ergonomic, and environmental assessments of digital orthodontic practice. Evidence-based reviews, meta-analyses, and consensus statements on best practices in aligner therapy. Science driven clinical prospective studies and occasionally case reports of innovative procedures.
