Subject(s): Additional physical formats: Printed version: : No titleOnline resources: Summary: The Journal for Labour Market Research is a fully Open Access interdisciplinary journal in the field of labour market research. The journal is distinct from most others in the field, as it provides a platform for contributions from a broad range of academic disciplines. This is particularly true for contributions of economic or sociological origin and those dealing with the subject of labour relations. With its empirical and multidisciplinary orientation, the journal publishes papers concerning the labour market, employment, education/ training and careers. The journal follows international research standards and strives for international visibility. Papers dealing with country-specific labour market aspects are suitable if they adopt an innovative approach and address a topic of interest to a wider international audience. The editors encourage replication and meta studies, as well as studies based on international comparisons. Authors are expected to make their empirical data and replication files available in order to enhance transparency and reproducibility, whenever data sharing is legally and ethically possible. The Journal for Labour Market Research has a "No Revisions" option for submissions (see below). The open access fees for this journal are kindly sponsored by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Authors don't have to pay for submission or publication. Up to Volume 44 (2011) the journal was published as "Zeitschrift für ArbeitsmarktForschung" in German and English language. Officially cited as: J Labour Market Res No Revisions option - How it works Submitting authors can choose a "No Revisions" option (to be mentioned in the cover letter). This means that papers are either accepted (with max some minor revision suggestions) or rejected. There will be no request for a mandatory revision. Authors who receive an acceptance or a “minor revision” feedback will have the option of publishing the paper without any changes or, preferably, following the minor improvement suggestions. The latter, however, is not a condition for publication, the paper can also be resubmitted without any changes and will then be accepted and published without delay.
