Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: The Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (JIAE) publishes research that explores how innovation and entrepreneurship interact and evolve across sectors, regions, and institutional contexts. We welcome theoretical, empirical, and policy‑oriented contributions that examine the drivers, enablers, and consequences of innovation and entrepreneurial activity in both emerging and established economies, with a clear interest in how these dynamics shape firms, SMEs, markets, and a wide range of organizational contexts. The journal takes a broad, integrative view of innovation and entrepreneurship, acknowledging that they are shaped by strategic, technological, economic, financial, educational, organizational, and governance environments. Within this perspective, we welcome studies that explore: policy, governance, and regulatory systems influencing innovation systems, entrepreneurial ecosystems, firm strategy, and regional development financial, banking, and investment structures that shape entrepreneurial risk, SME and firm performance, and innovation capacity, including access to credit and the financing of innovation education, skills development, and human capital formation as foundations for innovation and entrepreneurship, including the ways that technology and new organizational approaches transform educational systems and learning environments organizational behavior, knowledge transfer, and management practices that support innovation diffusion, productivity, and institutional performance, including leadership, organizational creativity, and the management of innovation processes and networks sector‑specific analyses (e.g., agriculture, health, digital technology, information systems, services) that illuminate how innovation and entrepreneurship emerge in diverse economic settings regional and spatial perspectives, including value chains, market access, and local livelihood systems, particularly where these shape enterprise development, innovation capability, and market participation transdisciplinary approaches linking innovation and entrepreneurship with sustainability, social development, and economic resilience, including work that connects innovation‑driven change to inclusive outcomes The journal is particularly interested in research that examines how innovation and entrepreneurship evolve over time; how they vary across regions, industries, and institutional environments; and how they contribute to inclusive and sustainable development. We welcome submissions that employ rigorous methods, offer comparative or global insights, or provide evidence from emerging markets and under‑researched regions. JIAE employs a single‑blind peer‑review process designed to ensure rigorous and confidential evaluation of all submissions. As a fully open‑access journal, JIAE ensures that all published research is freely available to a global readership, supporting equitable participation in innovation and entrepreneurship scholarship. The journal encourages contributions that engage with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) where relevant, particularly in relation to innovation‑driven, inclusive, and sustainable socio‑economic transformation.
