Summary: This volume contains twenty articles devoted to Ancient Greek syntax and semantics. A wide range of subjects is covered: tense and aspect, voice, the cases (notably the accusative), the moods, conditionals and purpose clauses, verbal complementation, and prepositional phrases. The approach is mostly - but not exclusively - synchronic, concentrating on the Mycenaean, Homeric, Classical, and Hellenistic periods of the Greek language.
