| Summary, etc. | Von wenigen Ausnahmen abgesehen, sind die kleinen Höfe Mitteldeutschlands als Faktoren der frühneuzeitlichen Kulturentwicklung noch kaum erforscht. Das im vorliegenden Band dokumentierte interdisziplinäre Kolloquium will diese Lücke schließen helfen, indem es wesentliche der literarischen und künstlerischen Leistungen im Umkreis einer kleinen Residenz in Augenschein nimmt: des nur sechseinhalb Jahrzehnte existenten Hofes einer kursächsischen Nebenlinie in Weißenfels, Sachsen/Anhalt (1680-1746). Studien zu Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Philipp Krieger, und städtischer Musik, zu Erdmann Neumeister, Christian Weise, Johann Beer, der Neuberin und Gottsched, zu den Theologen Olearius, zum Kanzelaltar des Schloßkapelle, zur Restaurierung eines Sarges aus dem fürstlichen Erbbegräbnis bieten reichhaltiges empirisches Material und/oder neue Analyse- und Interpretationsansätze. Die einzelnen Phänomene - auch den einzelnen Hof - übergreifend, werden außerdem Aspekte der Regionalität und der Kleinstaatlichkeit sowie ihrer kulturellen Implikationen diskutiert. |
