| Summary, etc. | In den neunziger Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts schienen sich die literaturtheoretischen Debatten erschöpft zu haben – man verkündete das Ende der Theorie. Die Erweiterung der Literatur- zur Kulturwissenschaft ging mit einer Hinwendung zu historischen Kontextanalysen einher, die die theoretische Reflexion in ihrer Reichweite beschränkten. Neue Ansätze fanden sich in einer Rephilologisierung der Literaturwissenschaft sowie einer neuen kognitionswissenschaftlichen Begründung der Literatur. Wo sich bisher Hermeneutik, Dekonstruktion und Diskursanalyse um die Vormacht in der Literaturtheorie stritten, konstituierte sich ein neues theoretisches Feld auf dem Doppel von Natur- und Kulturwissenschaft, das noch die aktuelle Diskussion bestimmt. Dies führte zu Debatten, von denen die Literaturtheorie nach dem Ende der Theorie lernen kann: Ziel ist die gemeinsame Grundlegung der Theorie in einer Poetik, die sich als Theorie und Praxis der Literatur zugleich versteht – wie in den Arbeiten von Barthes, Foucault, Benjamin und anderen angedacht. |
