| Summary, etc. | Was ist das Böse und woher kommt es? Augustin liefert eine psychologische Untersuchung des Bösen in der menschlichen Seele, die sich auch an diejenigen richtet, die Selbstreflexion und Psychotherapie aus eigener Kraft erreichen wollen. Das Problem des Bösen gehört zu den klassischen Themen der Philosophie und der Theologie. Augustins Lehre vom Bösen ist geprägt von dem Grundsatz: Das Böse ist ein Mangel an Gutem. Er definiert das Gute als die Einheit, die Form und die Ordnung des Seins. Wer sich um das Böse in der Seele sorgt, fragt sich, was die Einheit, die Form und die Ordnung der Seele ausmacht und wie sie verloren werden. Mithilfe des Selbstbewusstseins, der Tugend und der Willensfreiheit kann man die Einheit, die Form bzw. die Ordnung der Seele verstehen. Entsprechend kennzeichnen die Phänomene der Selbstspaltung, der Unwissenheit und der Willensschwäche ihren Verlust. Daraus ergibt sich die Frage, ob der Mensch selbst der Urheber des Bösen in der Seele ist oder ob das Böse notwendigerweise in der menschlichen Seele existiert. |
