| Summary, etc. | Im Zentrum der politischen Konstruktion von nationalsozialistischer 'Volksgemeinschaft' stand die Frage, wer zugehörig sei und wer nicht. Migration und deren Begleit- und Folgeerscheinungen mussten mithin als eine Herausforderung gelten. Ungeregelte bzw. unkontrollierte Migration verstand der NS-Staat als Gefahr. Er strebte sowohl bei grenzüberschreitenden Bewegungen als auch bei interner Migration nach repressiver Steuerung und Kontrolle. Dem Sammelwerk geht es um die Wechselwirkung zwischen migratorischer Entwicklung und staatlichen Aktionen zur Konstruktion von 'Volksgemeinschaft' in der durch massive Aufrüstung und Kriegsvorbereitung geprägten Phase bis 1939/40. Darüber hinaus ordnet es das NS-Migrationsregime in die Entwicklung in Deutschland und Europa im 20. Jahrhundert ein. |
