| Summary, etc. | Wie können oder sollen andere sich zu der Gewissensentscheidung eines Individuums verhalten? Da das Spektrum der Verhaltensmöglichkeiten erheblich differenzierter ist als gemeinhin bewusst, sei aus ethischer Sicht eine Typologie entwickelt. In einer Gewissensentscheidung kulminieren die moralischen Reflexionen und Entscheidungen des Individuums. Mit ihr übernimmt es für das eigene Handeln die höchstpersönliche Verantwortung in letztverbindlicher Weise. Mit ihr wahrt es seine moralische Integrität, seine Würde als Person. Wie andere als moralische Betrachter oder im Kontext des Rechts auf Gewissensfreiheit als staatliche Organe sich zu einer derartigen Entscheidung zu verhalten haben, hängt von unterschiedlichen Faktoren ab. Grundlegend ist die Unterscheidung, ob andere die Berufung des Akteurs auf seine Gewissensentscheidung als eine authentische anerkennen (können), und wie sie die zugrunde liegende Überzeugung samt ihren Konsequenzen beurteilen. |
