| Summary, etc. | Zwar gibt es eine Vielzahl an Einführungen in die formale Logik und der Besuch entsprechender Grundkurse ist für die Studierenden unterschiedlichster Fächer nicht selten verpflichtend; wie man diese Logik allerdings jenseits der philosophischen Fächer anwenden kann, bleibt in der Regel unbeantwortet. Diese bislang zu kurz gekommene interdisziplinäre Brückenfunktion der formalen Logik erfüllt der vorliegende Band. Fachlich ausgewiesene Wissenschaftler der jeweiligen Disziplinen präsentieren und reflektieren an einem Beispiel Anwendungen der formalen Logik in ihrem Fachbereich. Im Mittelpunkt stehen folgende Fragen: Wie wird in der jeweiligen Einzelwissenschaft formale Logik zur Modell- und Theoriebildung, zur Problemlösung, zum deduktiven, induktiven oder abduktiven Schließen eingesetzt? Wie wird dabei methodisch vorgegangen? Welche Kalküle kommen dabei zum Einsatz? Entsprechend wendet sich das Buch nicht nur an den Logiker oder Wissenschaftstheoretiker, sondern auch an die Vertreter der jeweiligen Disziplinen: Es macht die Anwendungsbreite der Logik in den einzelnen Wissenschaften deutlich und leistet zugleich einen Beitrag zur Förderung eines interdisziplinären Dialogs. |
