Summary, etc. Translational and Clinical Neuroinflammation is an open access, peer reviewed journal that focuses on research linking neuroinflammatory mechanisms to therapeutic development and clinical application. As a partner journal to Journal of Neuroinflammation, which centers on mechanistic immunological processes in the nervous system, Translational and Clinical Neuroinflammation provides a dedicated venue for applied, translational, and therapy focused research. Together, the two titles create a clear pathway for authors working across the continuum from mechanistic discovery to intervention, biomarkers, and patient impact. Translational and Clinical Neuroinflammation welcomes studies that advance our understanding of how neuroinflammation influences disease risk, progression, treatment responsiveness, and clinical outcomes. The journal aims to highlight work that connects biological insight with therapeutic strategies, clinical endpoints, and systems level approaches that support translation. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, case reports, methods papers, and commentaries across a broad range of interdisciplinary topics, including but not limited to: Biomarkers, digital endpoints, and stratification tools that support therapy development or trial design Neuroimmune mechanisms that inform therapeutic discovery or intervention strategies Drug delivery and transport across the blood–brain barrier Polypharmacology, combination therapeutic approaches, and neuromodulation Metabolic and systemic influences on neuroinflammation and treatment response Perioperative, aging related, and comorbidity linked cognitive or neurological dysfunction involving neuroinflammatory processes Computational, bioinformatic, multi omics, and imaging approaches applied to translational questions Preclinical, translational, and early clinical studies that evaluate therapeutic mechanisms or validate intervention target Translational and Clinical Neuroinflammation aims to serve as a platform for impactful research that bridges basic neuroinflammatory science with therapeutic innovation. By providing a focused home for studies that extend beyond the scope of Journal of Neuroinflammation, the journal supports rigorous, clinically aligned research that accelerates the development of effective treatments for neuroinflammation driven conditions.
