| Summary, etc. | Inwiefern ist der theatrale Raum politisch? Auf welche Weise spiegeln Grenzziehungen und Verortungen des Theaters eine Politik des Raumes wider? Der Band geht diesen Fragen sowohl historisch als auch auf das Gegenwartstheater bezogen auf den Grund. Jedes Theater beginnt mit einer Grenzziehung, jede Aufführung teilt einen Raum auf. Sei es die Trennung von Zuschauersaal und Bühne, die Aufteilung zwischen urbanem Raum und Theatersaal, sei es das Theater als Repräsentation des Hofes oder Versammlungsort der Polis - seit jeher zeichnet das Theater eine Politik des Raumes aus, die sich je nach historischem und kulturellem Selbstverständnis verändert hat. Dabei spielen geographische und juridische Aspekte ebenso eine Rolle wie Fragen der Gemeinschaftsbildung oder Inszenierungsstrategien in Theater, Tanz und Performance. Dem Band geht es nicht zuletzt um die politische Verortung des Theaters und seiner Topologie im Spannungfeld von Kunst und Gesellschaft. |
