| Summary, etc. | Im Rahmen dieser musikanalytischen Annäherung an die Transkompositionen des deutschen Komponisten Johannes Schöllhorn wird offengelegt, wie er die ursprüngliche Tonsatzstruktur der historischen Vorlagen mittels Bearbeitungs- bzw. Instrumentationstechniken erweitert und in eine zeitgenössische Klangwelt überführt. Im Zentrum der vorliegenden Musikanalysen stehen die Werke Anamorphoses (2001-04) und Dias, koloriert (2010), denen J. S. Bachs Die Kunst der Fuge zugrunde liegt, zudem das Klavierkonzert clouds and sky (2010), eine Bearbeitung von Gabriel Faurés Nocturne op. 107 Nr. 12, und «va» d'après Jules Massenet - Expressions lyriques (2016). In diesen Kompositionen verdeutlicht sich die Verschmelzung von historischer Vorlage und zeitgenössischem Komponieren zur Transkomposition. Dabei nähert sich Schöllhorn den Werken der Vergangenheit nicht mit dem Versuch einer musikhistorisch adäquaten Betrachtungsweise, sondern er sucht in diesen nach kompositorischen Potenzialen für die Gegenwart. |
