| Summary, etc. | Die Debatte um die Verteilungsgerechtigkeit ist seit jeher durch eine große Vielzahl gegenläufiger Kriterienvorschläge und abweichender Begründungsansätze gekennzeichnet gewesen. Bei näherem Hinsehen zeigt sich jedoch, dass diese Ansätze, trotz aller Differenzen im Detail, in einer grundsätzlichen Hinsicht übereinkommen: Sie alle Setzen eine bestimmte Auffassung von Unparteilichkeit voraus, und zwar genauer eine jeweils bildhafte, metaphorische Auffassung, aus der sie ihr wesentliches argumentatives Potential beziehen. Das Buch legt diese fundamentalen Metaphern frei, die den Kernbereich der maßgeblichen Verteilungstheorien ausmachen und ihre unterschiedlichen Perspektiven hervorbringen. Es zeichnet nach, wie Unparteilichkeit in den drei Bildern des Abstands, der Entkleidung und der Verhüllung Ausdruck findet und hierdurch die unhintergehbare Vielfalt der distributiven Begründungen und Kriterien erzeugt. Zugleich weist es auf, welche Verflechtungen zwischen jenen Bildern bestehen und durch welche tieferen Bezüge entsprechend die scheinbar divergenten Perspektiven und Konzeptionen der Verteilungsgerechtigkeit miteinander verknüpft sind. |
