| Summary, etc. | Die Akteur-Netzwerk-Theorie (ANT) zählt zu den meistdiskutierten Theorie- und Methodenansätzen der Gegenwart. In historischen Fallstudien vom Mittelalter bis zum 20. Jahrhundert werden ihre Potentiale für die Geschichtswissenschaft ausgeleuchtet. Das über den Menschen hinaus erweiterte Akteurskonzept der ANT gilt vielen als epistemologische Provokation. Die Ansätze der ANT gehen jedoch weit darüber hinaus und lassen sich weder auf Geschichten vermeintlich zum Leben erweckter Objekte noch auf das Werk Bruno Latours reduzieren. Trotz der Analyse historischer Gegenstände durch einige Akteur-Netzwerk-Theoretiker bleibt die Historizität jedoch eine Art blinder Fleck des Ansatzes. Die Aufsätze des Bandes nehmen dies zum Anlass, um Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der ANT für die historiographische Praxis aufzuzeigen. |
