| Summary, etc. | Dietrich Bonhoeffer schrieb 1944: 'Unserem ganzen bisherigen Christentum wird das Fundament entzogen.' Er sah, dass der traditionelle Glaube in einer veränderten geistigen Welt in eine tiefe Krise geraten ist, und ihn bewegte die Frage, was in dieser neuen Welt vom Christentum bleiben würde. Das ist auch das Thema dieses Buches. Es gibt eine Diagnose und macht einen Therapievorschlag. Die zentrale Ursache der Glaubenskrise wird darin gesehen, dass das Christentum stark vom mythischen Denken geprägt ist, das heute definitiv überwunden und zu einer Sache der Vergangenheit geworden ist. Diese Behauptung wird ausführlich begründet. Nach dieser Diagnose kann das Christentum seine Krise nur durch eine entschlossene Entmythisierung überleben. Es wird gezeigt, dass es sich dabei nicht um eine Demontage mit unbedeutendem Restbestand handeln muss. Die Reduktion bietet vielmehr die Chance, zentrale Elemente der Botschaft Jesu neu zu beleben. |
