| Summary, etc. | Die modernen Neurotechnologien sind eine Herausforderung für unsere ethische Reflexion. Als homo faber formte und formt der Mensch die Welt zwar schon immer nach seinen Vorstellungen. Mit den modernen Neurotechnologien wird der Mensch aber in besonderer Weise selbst das Objekt seines Technisierungs- und Gestaltungswillens. Die Technik kann immer tiefer in das Gehirn eindringen. Gleichzeitig werden durch immer genauere Kenntnisse neurophysiologischer Prozesse und Zusammenhänge zunehmend technische 'ErSetzungen' von Gehirnleistungen möglich. Was aber sind die ethischen und anthropologischen Implikationen von solchen 'Verschmelzungen' eines Gehirns mit technischen Systemen? Was bedeutet es normativ, wenn sich mit der 'Modulation' von Gehirnfunktionen auch die individuelle Persönlichkeit verändert? In diesem interdisziplinären Band werden die Technisierung des Gehirns und die Konsequenzen für unser Selbstbild und für unser Handeln diskutiert. Die ethische und anthropologische Reflexion wird dabei um neurowissenschaftliche, medizinische, juristische, historische, wissenschaftstheoretische, ökonomische und technikphilosophische Perspektiven ergänzt. |
