| Summary, etc. | In dieser Arbeit präsentiert Avelino Bassols eine kontextuelle Untersuchung zu Missionsverständnis und Missionspraxis in einem extrem abgelegenen Ort in Nordkenia, in dem er seit 24 Jahren tätig ist. Die Untersuchung der Missionspraxis ordnet er in den allgemeinen missionswissenschaftlichen Diskurs der Kir-che ein, mit einem Überblick der missionstheoretischen Reflexion seit dem Mittelalter. Ziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, eine mögliche Missionsdefinition und Missionsmethode für die pastorale Tätigkeit der Kirche in abgelegenen Gebieten auszuarbeiten. Dazu beruft sich der Autor auf die Missionsgeschichte, indem er einige Beispiele aus der Geschichte herauskristallisiert, sowie auf neue Tendenzen innerhalb der gegenwärtigen afrikanischen Theologie. Die gesamte Arbeit ist von dem Realismus durchgedrungen, den eine 24-jährige Tätigkeit in extremen Wüsten- und Halbwüstengebieten, Gebieten erster Evangelisierung, verursacht. |
