Aus dem Rätsel um den Ursprung einer in Verbindung mit Hitlers bevorzugtem Architekten und Minister Albert Speer stehenden Luftbildsammlung heraus untersucht die fotografiehistorische Publikation das zivile Luftbildwesen in Deutschland. Sie spannt hierbei einen Bogen auf von den Anfängen der Ballonfotografie in den 1880er Jahren über die Etablierung der privaten Unternehmen in der Zwischenkriegszeit bis hin zur nationalsozialistischen Vereinnahmung. Neben der historischen Aufarbeitung mit Fokus auf den Aktivitäten rund um das Unternehmen Hansa Luftbild widmet sich die Publikation erstmals auch wissenshistorisch umfangreich der Motivation der Auftraggeber sowie der Umsetzung in diversen Anwendungsgebieten in Wirtschaft, Kunst und Wissenschaft. |
