- online resource.
The Journal of Vibration Engineering Technologies (JVET) provides a forum for the rapid publication of original research in the field of vibration engineering. The scope of the journal includes vibration phenomena associated with mechanical, aerospace, structural and electromechanical systems. Review articles and original contributions based on analytical, computational, and experimental methods are solicited. The following topics are of interest, although papers in other relevant areas are welcome. Structural vibration; composites Rotor dynamics Vibration-based diagnostics; condition monitoring Vibration control Smart structures Nonlinear vibrations Acoustics and noise control Signal processing for vibration Computational techniques; Finite element modeling Experimental techniques Vibration absorbers and mitigation Fluid-structure interactions System identification; optimization Design of vibrating systems Feature articles are also invited which discuss broader scientific areas of current interest in greater depth. These articles should have high clarity and broad breadth of exposition and explore industrial and social impact of the findings. They are intended to broaden the readers' professional interests while keeping them aware of the important role that vibration plays in modern industry.
